Learning about UGEM
UGEM is a Ugandan Non-profit, National Non-Governmental organization committed to serving the most vulnerable populations of society including Children, Youth, Women Key and Priority Population through Health, Education, Livelihoods and Economic Empowerment. The organization was established in 2010 and prides itself in mobilizing and empowering local communities to reduce risks and vulnerabilities. UGEM’s work is aligned to and promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is also aligned to the National Development Plan.
Our Interventions focus on Community Mobilization and Sensitizations/Awareness Creation, Advocacy, Service Delivery, Capacity Building and Systems Strengthening, Partnerships and Network Development, Referrals and Linkages, Research and Documentation.
